UPDATE!

Due to a lot of confusion and some questions we've received, we will actually be opening this contest to  writing/literature entries as well as FanART (both Digital and Traditional)! Sorry for the confusion.

It's that time of the year! For most in the northern hemisphere... the weather become warmer, and many think of this time as trips to the beach or swimming at the pool. Meanwhile, those in the summer hemisphere have much cooler (or even completely cold) weather during these times. So, while it's scorching hot in the top half, it's snowing in the southern one. Since we have rangers from every corner of the globe... why not incorporate that into a summer-themed contest?

Contest Info:

This will be a contest for FanArt (Digital and Traditional) and writing/literature & drawing. So, paint a picture with either with your drawing medium or with words or design what you do during the summertime. The twist being... as one of Vic's characters! Maybe... Edward constructing transmuted sandcastles on the beach! Or Tamaki taking time away in his family's getaway homes in Australia sipping hot-cocoa by the fire! Or, even just a diary entry from Spirit recalling the summer he spent with little Maka. Again, we have rangers all around the globe, so summer (and the weather) may mean different things for everyone. So, feel free to let your mind and creativity explore. Base it around your personal experiences or just something off the top of your head! Of course, most importantly... have fun with it!

Rules for Entries:

Must be a picture of what summer means to you or what you do during your "summer" portrayed by one of Vic's characters. (preferably a brief explanation in the Artist's Description to help and emphasize that it is indeed for your "summer").
More characters in addition within the story is allowed.
No hentai. (anything 18+ basically)
Must be submitted after Contest opens. (So, no deviations that were made before the day the contest was announced).

I can't believe what just happened. I really can't. What world have we been transported to?
In what dimension would Cobalion agree to take a day off and go to the beach?!
Well, to be fair, it wasn't really a beach. It was the shore of a large lake, but still. It's been a week since the first day of summer and it showed. You could see the heat in the air. We all needed to cool down. But when Verizion suggested to our leader that we sould take a break, we never expected him to say yes. So, here we were, relaxing beside the water. Just watching the Tympole, Basculin, and Ducklett play. Until I got a face full of water!
"Gah! Hey! No fair, Terrakion, I wasn't ready!" I shouted, shaking the water off.
"Haha! You still have a lot to learn if that caught you by surprise!" he laughed, throwing water at me again.
This time, I dodged and shot water right back. So began our water war. We spent at least ten minut
