Nothing was left. Now it's just a deserted area with no life.

Actually, I think that's mainly in the path of the tornado... There's plenty of life in Moore, still...

I'm originally from Oklahoma City so it's really scary to think about what would've happened if my parents decided for us to stay there.

This got way too close to where I live. And I know so many people who live in Moore that it was terrifying.
Everyone I know is OK though.

Also, they've updated the fatalities and say that there was an error and only 24 were confirmed to had died.

 I live in Oklahoma, about an hour or so away from OK City, and one of my best friends lives near OK City... I'm so glad none of my friends or family was hit, but my prayers go out to those who were hit. All those poor children and families caught in that tragedy :( It's rather terrifying to know how close I am to such a disaster!

It's very heartbreaking that all those children lost their lives from that tornado. My blessings go out to the hurt and wounded families that lost loved ones that day.

I've lived around this area all my life, tornadoes are just a common thing we gotta deal with... but I think I feel even more frightened about tornado season this year. Today's not looking much brighter.

I didnt know much about this until late yesterday. That's terrible. I live in a place where small tornadoes may show up once in a while, and I know how scary they can be, but I just can't imagine... Wow...

I hope we all can try to be there for those people in Oklahoma as much as possible.

I had no idea that this happened! D: (I hardly watch TV) Those poor people! That sounds really scary, I have never lived in an area where tornados are a common occurrence, so I can not imagine how frightening that would be.

This time of year is always incredibly hard since the OKC area never fails getting hit, which is where my family is and where I was born. I'll be praying even more. Just a day after the 18th anniversary of the OKC bombing, too.
