We're not quite done with the previous character month yet, but October is such an important month for us Rangers, that I'm starting this one right away. FMA Day is upon us, and it's time to celebrate the one and only Fullmetal Alchemist. It's time for Edward Elric month!

- Rescue (Edward Elric One-Shot)"Edward!" I cried out until. "Get your filthy hands off her!" A voice shouted when they all turn to see Ed there, and he was panting with anger fuming in him. I sat up and looked at him. "Well, look at that, he actually came. The Fullmetal brat to the rescue." One thug said on Ed's arrival. "And you are man enough to save your gal, I wasn't expecting that." Another thug said also. "You're more of a man than we thought you were, Fullmetal. Nicely done." The other thug said as well.
"Shut up! Let Roberta go, and leave her alone! Now!" Ed said to them angrily. "But she's so cute, and so hot." One thug said to him. "Watch your ass! Or I'll kick it into next week...!" Ed said to him angrily. "Why not right now, kid?" One thug said to him when he runs up to them. I started to close my eyes when he started to beat up the thugs that are trying to rape me. But then he stopped and started panting for breaths. I opened my eyes to see that he beaten all the thugs by himself. He then ran up to me,

It was over. After years of struggle and bittersweet regrets, it had all finally come to its conclusion . . . and it was nearly more than Edward Elric could comprehend.
It had only been a handful of hours since the Battle for Amestris had been won, with the Father being defeated once and for all and the world’s fate settled by his demise. Only a few precious hours since it had been all or nothing, and now as the moon rose upon the new night, the eldest Elric silently watched over his younger brother with emotion filled, golden eyes.
After Edward had brought Al back from the Portal of Truth, the two had been taken to the nearest hospital for much needed medical attention. Though it was obvious that the focus had been on Al more than Ed, seeing as he had been shivering like a leaf and was all skin and bones. But now, after all the tests had been

Mia! Ed, shouted. "wait up!" As soon as Edward yelled wait up, a blonde pink streaked-haired girl turned around, and looked at Edward, and said," Don't run so slow, and you wouldn't have to yell for me. pipsqueak!" Edward glared at her, and said," Don't say I'm slow, and don't call me pipsqueak! I'm 2 inches taller than you!" Mia replied, just giving you some motivation baby." Try a little harder then!" Mia laughed and said," How about this, If we get out of this situation alive, I'll let you kiss me." Edward then said," much better." Don't worry baby, Envy won't get us." Just as he said that, Mia tripped, and fell down a ditch. Edward stopped running, and tried to pull her out. Keep going Ed, save your self! Don't worry about me. I'll be fine. Then Ed lovingly said," no, I'm not leaving the love of my life." "Mia blushed." Edward got Mia halfway out of the ditch when Envy punched Edward, and grabbed Mia. Envy then said,"

When times get tough, you never give up. You know that you will succseed if you keep trying.

As you know, this contest includes several different categories. It's a big month for all of us, so everyone gets a chance to enter. Remember that you are allowed to enter multiple categories, but you can only have one entry PER category. Art has been divided between digital and traditional, and therefore they count as separate categories. The theme is the same: give us something centered on Edward Elric, on Ed himself or his relationship or whatever else you want. Stick to the theme and try to capture the essence of the character and the world he lives in. Let's make this our best Edward Elric month yet!
