Contest time!  This time we're going give you Cosplayers as well as you Artists out there a chance for concept work! So we encourage a lot of you enter!  Let's turn this into a HUGE contest!

Following the cannon of Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conqueror of Shamballa, we discover that Edward Elric was trapped on the other side of The Gate, and in the end reunites with Alphonse, now stuck in our world.  Instead of alchemy becoming the world's superpower, the steam engine became that for its time.  The Elric brothers left Munich with Noah, intending to destroy the weapons meant to be used in Hitler's attack and enjoy their new lives together on Earth.

Now wouldn't it be interesting to base concepts about Edward and Alphonse's life after the fact?  There are a lot of interesting chances for historical fiction concepts for both drawing and cosplay!  So we're going to base a contest around this!

when it comes to Art, this is a two category Contest.
-Digital: Art drawn either completely on the computer or colored and re-done on the computer.
-Traditional: Art drawn with pencils and completely non-digital means. Can be non-colored or colored traditionally, pencils, ect.

Contest Info:
Draw Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric, in a historical fiction concept based after they are stranded in our world.  "The other side of The Gate" (1923)  You guys have lots of room for different concepts so we want you all to be really creative.  Make sure that you incorporate a concept you thought of.  Work on your backgrounds and be very detailed and try to capture the feel of both the time-period, and how Ed and Al might play a part in our world that they made their home.

If you're Cosplaying, there must at least be an Edward Elric Ciosplayer present!  Preferably in the getup he wears in our world.  Try finding locations that look older to take your shots, areas that might look closer to what you might see in 1923 and try to be as accurate as you can.  Really go all out with your shots and make sure you pick the very best pic!  The more authentic the picture the more awesome!

(Cosplayers: Your photographer will be getting a too if you win!  After all, that's only fair!  So in other words, you both get a prize art!)
