The sound of the two massive doors coming to a close echoed in the empty space surrounding a confused blond boy.
“Where… am I…” he murmured to himself, turning away from the vanishing doors to walk through a wall of mist. Everything around him was dead quiet, and not even the slightest of noises could be heard. The only thing that the boy could hear was the sound of his own rapid heart beating in its cage. 
He came to a halt as he set foot in a small puddle, which rippled into a large spring just a few yards ahead of him. The mist suddenly cleared and he was surrounded by rolling hills and scattered trees- a slight breeze ruffling his golden hair. The aroma of grass and daisies filled the air, and the blond recognized what he had known as his home for so long in a heartbeat. “Risembool…” he sighed as he walked up to the pool in front of him and peered into it.
To his shock, he did not see his own reflection staring back at him

My pale feet tapped the cold wooden floorboards gently as I skipped down the hallway at a gentle pace. My short, wispy white hair bopped from side to side as I bounced, creating an atmosphere of joy around me. I hummed a tune, gently, and if I remember correctly, it was called… Greensleeves. I loved that tune. It was beginning to get old, but it was the only tune I knew. After all, I hadn’t left this house in what felt like forever, even after the third floor’s roof caved in.
Well, to be honest, it was more like I couldn’t leave.
After all, I died here.
And ghosts can’t leave their graves.
 
Now, don’t fret; being a ghost isn’t all that boring. I mean, you get

A bolt of light shot up from the ground, disturbing a family of birds nesting in a nearby tree. The light widened into a portal that could easily let a seven foot man through. After a brief moment, a short girl stepped through the light into the forest. Her long, dark brown hair was tied up in a high tail and an easy smile graced her face.
“Let’s see what we got this time!”
Her smile fell away as she took in the trees and foliage. “Wait, this isn’t where I’m supposed to be!”
Fishing a sleek device out of the pocket of her turquoise jacket, she frowned. “Aw, flops, did I get the coordinates wrong again?”
Several miles away, a small town sat nestled next to the forest. The adults milling about seemed to be ignoring the group of boys following and teasing a small girl. The boys were laughing and kept bopping the knit winter hat she wore, even though the day was warm.

This is a writing contest.  You are not restricted to fanfics featuring Vic's characters or even fanfics in general.  You can write an original story if that works better for you.  Below is a list of seven specific words.  The challenge is to write a short story that uses all of these words, and I do mean that.  EVERY SINGLE WORD on this list must be used AT LEAST ONCE.  I will be checking all the entries to make sure.  Once again, it doesn't have to be a fanfic.  Use your imagination and come up with something creative.

THE LIST:

Family
Touch (touched, touching, etc.)
Look (looked, looking, etc.)
Hair
Spring
Ghost
Laugh (laughed, laughing, etc.)

Rules:
Every word on the list must be used at least once.  If even one word is omitted, the entry will not be accepted.
You must have a minimum of 800 words and a maximum of 3,000 words.
It must be written after the Contest has opened.
Must be a complete story with a beginning, middle, and end.
No Yaoi or Yuri.
No Hentai.
Any genre of Writing is fine, Comedy, Romance, Drama, ect.
Spell check please.
Use proper spacing; avoid walls of text.
